Mum was born and lived in Busby, Renfrewshire until she married dad and moved to Barrhead in 1958. She was well known in Barrhead and lived there until 2006 when she moved to Corby to be with her family who had all moved South. She was mother to her four children, grandmother to her seven grandchildren and great grandmother to her three great grandchildren. Since her passing she now has another two great grandchilden. Her time in Corby was short, but she was glad she'd moved here as it gave her the oppurtunity to support Alison during what was to be her final months of life. Mum was a character and had some fixed opinions and ideas. Her main purpose in life was to look out for her family. She loved us all with a passion. She left us suddenly and was not ready to go. Life without mum is very quiet. I will miss her always.
Two Years Have Passed
Two years have passed and I still miss you every day. So many things I have learned and wish I could share with you. You were always there for me, I didn't always appreciate you as I should have. Please forgive my imperfections and know that although we had our differences of opinion I never stopped loving you and never will. Miss you. Karen x
